Peyton Fire Protection District is always looking for more volunteers. We currently run two probationary classes a year. Probationary members have to be able to commit to several hours of training as well as make meetings and shift coverage time. Our current probationary time is 6 months, with classes on Thursday nights and Sunday mornings.
We do ask you to have a clean driving record as well a clean criminal history, and the ability to pass a physical. You must also be able to pass an annual fitness test.
